Chief Executive at the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) Dr David Blaney addressed teachers at an event at the University of Glamorgan this week.
Over 100 delegates attended the Teachers’ & Advisers’ Conference at which Dr Blaney spoke about the changing face of Higher Education in Wales.
The conference, hosted by the University’s Schools and Colleges Liaison team, saw delegates, from around the UK, gathering together to discuss value for money and higher education choices in a challenging world.
Sarah Watkins, Student Recruitment Manager at the University said: “We were delighted to welcome David Blaney as the key note speaker at the conference. This event provides an overview of the latest changes in higher education and helps advisers consider their impact on their students’ higher education choices.”
Delegates took part in organised workshops and received lectures from a number of high profile speakers.
