The Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE) conference, which is visiting Cardiff this week, will be chaired by Professor David Pickernell, Director of the Centre for Enterprise at the University of Glamorgan.
He will also be aided by Dr Chris Miller, who is part of the organising committee, and Christine Atkinson, Head of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Hub and organiser of the Gender Special Interest Group (GEN SIG).
The event will take place at Cardiff City Hall on Tuesday 12th & Wednesday 13th November and is forecast to attract 400 delegates from across the globe, with over 250 presentations on a diverse range of entrepreneurship-related topics.
There will also be a number of high profile keynote speakers, and the conference will also see a number of specialist workshops.
The event connects policy makers with business support practitioners and academics, nurturing productive dialogue and engagement between these groups, thus allowing research to inform policy and practice to create genuine change. It also provides the opportunity for everyone from young up and coming researchers and entrepreneurs to established academics and policy makers to get valuable feedback on their work.
