Medals for Glamorgan Olympic Hopeful

A 19 year-old University of Glamorgan student, Mike Bamsey, is one of Team GB’s hopefuls for the next Olympic games after scooping three silver medals in shooting at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney in January.

A unique partnership between the University of Glamorgan and the University of Wales, Newport, and backed by Welsh Government, UHOVI won the ‘commitment to widening participation’ category.
