Applications buck national trend as more students choose Glamorgan

The University of Glamorgan has bucked the national trend by continuing to attract more applicants at a time when many universities are reporting falls in the number of students seeking to study.

According to official UCAS figures for 2012 entry, Wales’s second largest university has enjoyed a 24% growth in applications since 2010, more than five times the national increase of only 3.99%.
