Colleges Chief Awarded Chancellor’s Medal

Dr John Graystone, Chief Executive of ColegauCymru/CollegesWales, was awarded the University of Glamorgan Chancellor’s Medal by the Rt Hon Lord Morris of Aberavon KG QC, Chancellor of the University, at the University’s Annual Report Presentation on 4 April 2011. The award was conferred in recognition of his outstanding contribution to education.

University of Glamorgan drama graduate Simon Morgan Thomas has landed a lead role in the hit stage show DrumChasers, which is currently touring the UK. Simon, whose stage name is Thomas Morgan, was among the first graduates from the university’s Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural industries. He completed the BA (Hons) Drama award in 2009.
