Prestigious Editorial Role for Professor Doherty

The Journal of Marketing Management (JMM) is regarded as internationally excellent by the Association of Business Schools and since its inception has been very influential in the development of Marketing as an academic subject area.

Autism in an ageing population

Tuesday’s meeting of the Welsh Assembly Cross Party Autism Group (CPAG) looked at how autism affects older people, and heard from Professor Ian Stuart-Hamilton of the University of Glamorgan. Professor Stuart-Hamilton conducted research on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government’s ASD strategic action plan with a number of older people with autism in Wales, to find out how health and social services could better meet their needs.

Visit by Suzhou University of Science and Technology

The University welcomed visitors from one of its key Chinese partner universities, Suzhou University of Science and Technology (SUST), this week. Led by the University President, Professor Chen Zhigang, the SUST delegation met with the Vice-Chancellor and senior faculty representatives and had an opportunity to see the work of the Faculty of Advanced Technology, including the new aircraft maintenance facility.
