Top New University in Wales for Third Year Running

The University of Glamorgan is officially the top new university in Wales, and is among the top 10 new universities in the UK, according to the Guardian league tables which are published on-line today, 1st May.

The National DNA Database on Trial

The Human Genetics Commission has estimated that 25% of the male population and 7% of the female population will soon be on the National DNA database.

Now, a research project led by Dr Rachel Iredale, from the Genomics Policy Unit, at the University of Glamorgan has won funding of £27,914 from the Wellcome Trust to examine just what that means for young people.
