Glamorgan Top in UK for Business Links

The University of Glamorgan has been rated top university in the UK for its number of graduate business start ups still trading.

The survey is the first ever institution-by-institution breakdown of higher education business link activity and was carried out by the Higher Education Funding Council for England on behalf of all the UK higher education funding bodies.

Rugby Star's Academy at Glamorgan

Wales’ rugby stars of the future have been training with Welsh rugby international Gareth Thomas at the University of Glamorgan this month.

The rugby camp at the University’s playing fields, attended by 120 kids per day over a 3 day period, was run by the former Wales captain and British Lion.

Accreditation for Engineering Courses

The University of Glamorgan’s BSc Civil Engineering and BSc Civil Engineering with International Studies courses have been re-accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), meeting the criteria to train graduate ‘Incorporated Engineers’ under the provisions of the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC).
