Starting your own business will probably be one of the most important decisions you’ll make, so it’s important to ensure that it’s right for you. Business Start up week is run in conjunction with Venture Wales and Menter a Busnes and will run across the Glamorgan campuses.
All events are free and are suitable for students, graduates and staff with a business idea.
Come along and be inspired by talks from local entrepreneurs and undertake practical workshops led by experienced business advisors.
Participants may attend the whole week or pick out events that best suit them, but given that spaces are limited, places must be booked in advance by e-mailing enterprise@glam.ac.uk

Workplace Bullying and Disability Discrimination Event

In the last two years almost one million employees in the UK have been bullied at work. Organisations don’t always spot the early signs of bullying or harassment or know how best to deal with the issues. The Law isn’t sympathetic and the effect that bullying has on the rest of the workplace can be one of intimidation, creating feelings of anxiety and uncertainty and leading to low morale.
