Tenovus, Wales’ leading cancer charity, will be coming to the University of Glamorgan on Monday 30 April 2012 to showcase their Cancer Support Services and to raise cancer awareness.
The Mobile Cancer Support Unit will be situated at the Lower Glyntaff Campus for you to come and see the range of cancer treatments and support services they can provide.
They will be offering free Health Checks throughout the day, the aim of which is to see if your lifestyle is increasing your risk of cancer.
Public Health Screening Services will be on board to answer any questions you may have surrounding bowel, breast and cervical screening.
The dedicated Cancer Support Team offer a range of practical advice and emotional support services on board, via the Freephone Tenovus Cancer Support Line and face to face at many outreach clinics across Wales.
Refreshment vouchers will be provided on the day.
