University Open Day

The University of Glamorgan’s open day will take place on Saturday, 21st October. The day allows prospective students to explore the campus, meet some current students and talk to academic staff.

Student Recruitment Manager Tom Hay said, “We’ve got a fantastic programme of events lined up for this year’s open days, from debates and tours to the chance to play around on some of our most exciting facilities. I would encourage anyone thinking of going to university next year, to come and have a look around and find out more about what Glamorgan has to offer.”

Highlights on the Treforest campus include tours of the law facilities on campus including the moot court room, strength tests in civil engineering facilities and visits to the on-campus aircraft hangar. Visitors to the University’s ATRiuM campus in Cardiff will be able to look around the television and radio studios and get some fashion advice from the University’s fashion design team.

Open day visitors can download an ‘app’ which provides them with directions and timetables for the day as well as information about connecting to Glamorgan’s social networking sites.
